learn to sniff and spit
This course focuses on the classic – and not so classic – grape varieties and how they produce different styles depending on where and how they are made. You will learn so much more than simply how to taste wine. Soon you’ll confidently put words to wine, sniff out a Pinot Noir from a Pinotage, a northern Rhône from a southern Rhône, quality from commerciality.
In just four weeks you will do more than impress your friends, colleagues and clients, you will make better informed buying decisions and heighten your enjoyment of wine.
There’ll be four weekly sessions of 2 hours, and each week we’ll taste nine to ten wines from around the world, priced from approximately £10 to £30 per bottle. The course will also include 6 of your own professional crystal tasting glasses, an aroma wheel, to help you identify wines and informative entertainment about wine.
